Born
in Spain. He obtained his degree in Architecture in Madrid and
there, started his first artistic activities. He continued his studies at
University of Barcelona obtaining a Master Degree. Later, he specialized
in various Engraving techniques at Pontevedra, the School of Arts and
Betanzos, at the Contemporary Engraving International Centre (CIEC).
He
collaborated with different institutions to create the Graphic Atelier
TEUCRO at Pontevedra. His
graphic works can be found at
the National Library in Madrid. At
present, he combines his interest in painting
with engraving. He is also teaching. In 2000 he was given a grant
by the Contemporary Engraving International Centre (CIEC) and now he
collaborates as an active member. Since
2001, he is one of the members of the committee selecting the
International Engraving Prize “ Máximo Ramos” in Ferrol. In
2002 he was chosen for an exhibition in Oporto, the year the city was
appointed European Cultural Capital. In
2004, he was selected by the Autonomous Government Division for Culture to
take part in a special programme of travelling exhibitions and in 2005, a
monographic catalogue of his paintings was published by the same Division
for Culture (ISBN 84-453-3958-3). In 2006, he has been included in the catalogue of the IX Contemporary Art International Mostra UNION FENOSA and got the National Prize MUFACE PAINTING CONTEST. Individual
